2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

This 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon is spontaneously fermented from select fruit from a block in our upper plains vineyards. The high density plantation allows each vine to produce fewer grapes at greater quality. The humid 2022 vintage produced many cloud covered days slightly impeding photosynthesis reducing sugar content but allowing for perfumed and floral expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon that are maybe more reminiscent of Pinot Noir than Napa. Aged 8 months in French oak.
